Mesa as Midwife

Qollasuyu Gathering: Mesa as Midwife: Moving Through Personal, Communal & Global Transitions
As an annual personal and communal pilgrimage, we gather to be together, to share the wisdom and practice of the Pachacuti Mesa Tradition and to share our gifts and experiences as we journey into its expression in our lives.

This year we focus on TRANSITIONS: personal, communal, organizational, global, and planetary. Change seems to be happening faster than ever in so  many aspects of our lives. How do we acknowledge change? Ritual and ceremony provide ways to process, honor, release and celebrate the many facets of change. Through the exploration of four directions of the mesa, we will experience ceremonies designed around the four elements of nature: earth, air, water and fire and thereby encounter and know the fifth direction of the mesa.
At this time of the Great Turning, we welcome long time mesa carriers, Shift Network Universal Shaman participants, PMT apprentices, practitioners of other traditions and seekers as we weave  a web of community through story, song, dance, ceremony, the Pachamama Renewal Process on Meditation Rock, the Saturday night Fire Circle, creating despachos, feeding the apacheta,  walking the labyrinth, exploring the trails of The Mountain, and sharing meals.
It is always a time of the Unexpected.
